  8. GATEWAY OF INDIA: design of George Wittet is located on waterfront in Apollo Bunder area in South Mumbai, Maharashtra. Basalt arch, 26 metres (85 feet) high structure used as a landing place for British governors.
  9. VICEROY REGAL-LODGE: Located on the Observatory Hill of Shimla at present houses the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies. Several historic events including the decision of India partition by Nehru, Jinnah and Mountbatten took inside the lodge.
