SPA ENVIS RP on Human Settlements and their Impact on Environment announces  job opening for the post of IT Officer/GIS Expert  as per job description given below. Interested applicants may send their CV at    spa-env@nic.in  latest by 10th January, 2021.

Role: IT Officer/GIS Expert
Location: Delhi
Project: Environmental Information System



Role Responsibilities:

· ENVIS Website updation and development
· Coordination and assistance in Green Skill Development Programme in different parts of India:
· Document preparation such as certificates, placement brochures, etc.
· Registration of GSDP participants in online portal
· Proposal updation online
· Content preparation for newsletters
· Assistance in the data collection of National Environment Survey for different districts under ENVIS
· Requirement in other activities as and when required
. Designing of knowledge products developed by the centre


Key Outcomes:
  • Weekly updation in ENVIS website
  • Produce original content for website every fortnight

Key Experiences and Skills Required:
  • PG Diploma in RS/GIS with at least 1 years’ experience/ Graduate, 
  • Good knowledge of computer technology (website development, designing, internet, publication etc.)
  • Two years’ experience in the relevant field

Salary: Rs. 28,672/- (Revised every financial year)
